It all started

when someone ( a fledgling pcb designer ) discovered that an acid would disolve copper and an acid would not disolve ink. Place the ink on a copper clad sheet of fiber glass in a pattern. Imagine silkscreening lines or patterns on the copper. Imagine acid eating the copper away from the ink pattern. This process is called etching. The result is a pcb design of several lines. a pcb assembly or pcb layout, of copper on the fiber glass now called a pcb board. These lines are made of conductive material (copper or some other conductive metal) and the material upon which the copper rests or adheres upon cannot carry electricity - it is an insulator. Any electricity applied to the copper line will follow the copper to the destination. We now have a printed circuit board design based upon a schematic capture of the money making idea.

Lines can be designed

so holes can be drilled or punched through the copper line, Now components can be placed through these throughholes and soldered. The result eventually becomes an electronic device - a printed circuit board layout or design or PCB.

So what do you get?

The electrically conductive pattern portion of the PCB assembly allows electrical current to flow to the various electronic components populating the circuit board. These components perform various functions such as resisting current flow (resistors), amplifying (amplifiers) or changing the direction of current flow (diodes and/or transistors).

(printed circuit boards) are used in almost every and any technical electronic device. These devices range from rockets, to trains, to television sets, to computers. They are everywhere in one fashion or another - even in the computer monitor that you are using to view this message.

what we are quite capable of doing for you. We can provide up to a 12 multi-layer pcb layout design for your product concept and are looking into up to 18 layers of design and production. We can design your circuit allowing surface mount soldering of your components, and/or design your PCB for through hole mounting of your components be they small transformers, resistors, capacitors, or other combinations.
